Director of the Program for Active Living Kinesiologist

The Village of Glendale Crossinghas an exciting opportunity for a Director of the Program for Active Living (PAL)to join their team.

Status: Permanent Full-Time

Location: 3030 Singleton Ave London ON

Expected Start Date: January 30 2026

The expected hiring range for this is $ 58000 to $ 61000. This role falls within a broader internal salary band with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance.

To be successful as our new Director of the PAL you will:

• Have a Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on psychomotor behaviour and exercise rehabilitation
• Member in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Provide leadership and direction for the development and evaluation of comprehensive operational policies and programs for the Village PAL program
• Provide leadership support and evaluate PAL programs and projects including restorative restraints falls care conferences and research to practice initiatives
• Coordinates with external stakeholders including the LHIN regarding OT/PT services vendor relations for application resident equipment external service providers for additional therapy/exercise programs
• Participates in Village interdisciplinary team meetings or committees as appropriate while communicating and working in collaboration with other interdisciplinary team members
• Provide leadership to the PAL Coordinator(s) and supports PAL Students Volunteers and contracted therapy services who assist with the PAL program
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members
• Understand the physical mental and emotional demands of the role

It would be an asset if our new Director of the PAL has:

• Experience working in a Long-Term Care setting
• Current Heart Save Level of CPR
