(CAN) Grocery Associate

Position Summary

Working as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada provides an opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Grocery Associate offers exemplary customer service, maintains and zones the grocery area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What You'll Do

• Zones the department.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups / markdowns, signing / flagging / pricing / labels.
• Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
• Stocks merchandise / picks; downstocks if applicable; applies product protection; sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.00, determined based on relevant experience.
