Role Designation : Home Based

As a Project Manager, you ensure the successful management, execution and delivery of the complex and strategic Claims transformation project that involves multiple teams working in a fast-paced environment on deliverables contributing to an overarching objective.

You plan, direct, and coordinate cross-functional project activities with the business and global technology teams to meet project goals and objectives.

You will ensure alignment between several stakeholders across multiple areas of the company, and manage all aspects of the project's schedule, risks, issues, reporting, and governance.

Accountabilities :

  • Maintain a business resource allocation and assignment for requirements and testing to support the various project releases.
  • Coordinate Claims product team communication deliverables.
  • Assist with the creation and review of the Project Charter, Change Management and Test plans for the project releases, supporting the delivery of the approved scope and strategies.
  • Create a schedule and tracking of progress for Early Business testing and User Acceptance testing.
  • Schedule team and other stakeholder meetings as required.
  • Track and document completion of work plan activities.
  • Clearly communicate assigned takeaways, deliverables and follow up with assigned owners to ensure completion to achieve desired result by initiative / task.
  • Establish appropriate governance, support, project delivery assurance, and oversight for assigned initiatives.
  • Document and tracking of project issues, risks and change requests; resolve and escalate issues, risks and change requests as appropriate.
  • Maintain an action item list and decision log with status updates on progress.
  • Should have the ability to drive / manage and be responsible for multiple project releases
  • Enable effective working relationships and achievement of project deliverables and objectives
  • Develop and leverage appropriate technical, functional, or business knowledge to support the successful implementation with multiple groups
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Possess PMP designation or CAPM certification with proven skills / experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ project management experience working closely with IT delivering personal lines insurance products and enhancements.
  • Experience leading project teams.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal & written).
  • Experience working in the Lean, Agile and / or SCRUM methodologies.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to effectively interact and negotiate with all levels of the organization.
