Triaxle Driver

R.W. Tomlinsonis currently seekingan experienced licensed AZ Triaxle Driver to work in Ottawa.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and drive primarily straight trucks to transport goods and materials within the greater Ottawa area.
• Perform pre-trip en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment and loading and unloading of cargo
• Perform pre-trip en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems equipment and accessories such as tires lights and turning signals and brakes
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transportinggoods
• Record cargo information hours of service distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain logbooks
• Perform mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on truck
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid AZ Drivers License
• 3 years experience
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Physically able to get in and out of truck numerous times throughout the shift
• Maintaining vehicle inside and out for next day including cleaning out box
• Operate a loader when required
