We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled HRIS Implementation & Support Specialist to join our team on an 18-month contract. In this role, you will provide essential support as we continue to transform our internal systems, collaborating nationally with teams to ensure effective implementation and user guidance.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

  • Primarily responsible for the configuration, testing and support of the SAP HR and SuccessFactors module
  • Subject matter expert in the area of payroll processes, programs, policies, and procedures to meet current and emerging payroll requirements
  • Analyze maintenance requests and spec out configuration requirements for system solutions
  • Act as a liaison between the business and IT, creating detailed specification for IT on requests requiring ABAP coding
  • Prepare transports for implementation to production using Sobeys change control processes
  • Work as part of a team and actively contribute to areas of development with suggestions, solutions and innovative ways to achieve improvements in the use of tools and technology
  • Understand the integration and end-to-end business processes in order to problem solve payroll issues, integration points and dependencies with other systems
  • Maintain and support the SAP HR and SuccessFactors module by ensuring it provides for efficient and accurate processing and meets regulatory compliance requirements
  • Deliver expert guidance and support to end users for SAP HR and SuccessFactors People Portal, ensuring seamless navigation and optimal use of these systems
  • Participate in / coordinates the implementation of new product releases (HRSP’s) for the SAP HR and SuccessFactors module including developing communication and training material where necessary
  • Perform Point-of-Contact duties such as monitoring payroll jobs, error resolution, and email inquiries

What you have to offer :

  • Undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Thorough understanding of HR systems and business processes in SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors or Ceridian Dayforce
  • Knowledge of Canadian Payroll processes
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position as the candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada
  • CPA Certification is considered an asset
