In this world, there are software applications designed for nearly everything. Particularly in the world of engineering, there are countless software applications, specifically designed to complement the hard work of engineers.

In the case of this Engineering Software Specialist position, you’ll apply your knowledge of both naval engineering and software solutions.

In this position, you’ll apply your hands-on experience in naval engineering, and work with a complex engineering software product.

You will be a representative of the company that makes the software product, and work closely with the Vancouver-based customers.

You will be the person on the ground’ in Vancouver to show the customers how to effectively use the software. The goal is to help the customers use the software, to ultimately create better ships.

It is certainly a way to combine your passions for both engineering and software.

This is a full-time position that includes a competitive base salary, a bonus program, extended health and dental benefits, and paid vacation.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all matters related to the CAD software. This means that you will gain a deep understanding of the inner workings of the software, and how to use it effectively.

You will then share this knowledge by consulting with the customers who are designing the ships. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues who are based in the company’s European Headquarters, which may include travel (once the pandemic is safely over of course)
