Responsibilities

• Participate actively in month-end and year-end processes (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations, forecasts, budgets, etc.)
• Ensure data integrity and recorded results according to current accounting standards

Financial Analysis

• Participate in monthly financial analysis of revenues and expenses
• Explain budget and forecast variances
• Create and analyze reports, dashboards, and financial models to monitor performance
• Follow internal financial processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Participate in system optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial information (e.g., develop new processes, tools, and models)
• Improve documentation of financial processes

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Possession or in the process of obtaining a CPA designation or equivalent

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or corporate finance roles

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Bilingual in French and English
• Team spirit and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of SAP system is a plus
