Adecco is currently hiring a Superintendent for full-time positions in Edmonton and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.This role supports large-scale construction projects, including industrial warehouse and commercial demolition. The Superintendent will lead all aspects of the construction site to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while providing an excellent experience for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:- Lead all aspects of site safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company standards
- Manage proactive project safety and site security practices
- Partner with senior project leadership to deliver projects that meet safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction targets
- Lead teams through all phases of construction including preconstruction, site setup, execution, and closeout
- Plan and review construction programs, logistics, equipment, manpower, and temporary facilities
- Implement continuous improvement strategies, including LEED and Last Planner methodologies
- Manage employee performance, development, and recruitment support
- Act as the primary liaison between field operations and internal departments
- Support project forecasts and oversee project financials
- Participate in month-end project reviews and reporting
- Plan and facilitate trade meetings to ensure project milestones are met
- Review plans, specifications, and documentation for constructability and discrepancies
- Develop and maintain the project master schedule
- Lead project completion and handover activities
- Ensure QA/QC processes are implemented, documented, and compliant with contract requirements
- Maintain required HSE training and ensure adherence to safety programs
Qualifications:- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- 5+ years of superintendent or relevant on-site construction leadership experience (mandatory)
- Experience with industrial warehouse or commercial demolition projects
- Journeyman trade certificate or relevant post-secondary education
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Knowledge of Prime Contract and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, and key project drivers
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project
- Safety-first mentality with experience implementing safety programs on-site
