Overview
The Coordinator addresses technical inquiries, maintains working relationships, and assists in administrative and technical aspects.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of estimates, projects, and operations to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
- Provide weekly project status reports to Project Managers and track project progress.
- Attend meetings regarding operations or project issues and handle technical inquiries.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, assist in resolving problems, and liaise on system integration.
- Prepare and keep up-to-date operational manual documentation and technical / administrative documentation.
- Collaborate with Project Services, Finance, Safety, and Estimating teams to keep project schedule and delivery on track.
- Support forepersons and trades in the field.
- Manage change orders, prepare documentation for claims, ensure monthly progress bills are accurate and issued.
- Collect time sheets from field, format reports for payroll, and cost control.
- Administer operational activities such as property management, correspondence, IT requirements, vendor approval, and material receiving.
Education and Experience
Technical knowledge in the Electrical discipline.Diploma in Engineering Technology and / or relevant work experience.Experience using Bluebeam, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD considered an asset.Experience preparing technical reports, presentations, and managing engineering drawing revisions.About You
