Responsibilities
- Help clients complete their taxes using Intuit TurboImpôt / TurboTax by providing tax guidance, reviewing self‑prepared returns, and preparing full‑service returns.
- Manage product / software inquiries and use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to research and deliver accurate, understandable answers to customers.
- Serve as a virtual, customer‑facing tax expert, utilizing state‑of‑the‑art video communication software to interact with clients and diligently document all interactions to maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and file personal tax returns that include complex items such as employment, self‑employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
- Passionately help clients navigate tax complexities, delighting customers and strengthening the Intuit brand.
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional, friendly, and confident demeanor when interacting via video and audio tools.
- Work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Utilize CRA RepID to access the Represent a Client service for onboarding.
- Operate effectively in both English and French, offering real‑time guidance to clients across Canada.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 + years of paid, professional tax preparation experience.Experience using professional tax software to prepare and file returns with complex elements (employment, self‑employment, rental income, investments, T1135, foreign income, credits, and deductions).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on empathy and clarity.Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capability to take ownership of client issues.Curiosity and continuous learning mindset, seeking resources to deliver appropriate solutions.Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting and learning new tools.Willingness to work flexibly, minimum 20 hours per week.Bilingual fluency in English and French (seasonal French‑bilingual tax expert).Complementary Qualifications
Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) returns.Experience preparing Quebec Tax (TP1) returns.Skills & Abilities

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package based on performance. The base pay range for this position is :
PEI $24.50 / hour – $33.50 / hourBC $24.50 / hour – $33.50 / hourNova Scotia $24.50 / hour – $33.50 / hourThis position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits according to our applicable plans and programs.
