Their expertise includes restoring damaged sewer lines, installing new water services, and ensuring minimal disruption during their projects. Due to continued growth, the company is excited to welcome aboard the new Project Manager.
Your new Role
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with strong numerical and analytical skills to join our team. This role requires someone who is highly organized, confident working with data, and experienced in construction-industry project environments. The Project Manager will work closely with other managers and oversee key staff who report on the projects. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of the following : plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from initiation to completion; develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and detailed budgets; maintain accurate, up-to-date Excel tracking sheets and project records; monitor spending, track variances, and collaborate with other management on forecasts and budget performance; provide direction and oversight to staff who report on spending and materials usage; identify project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies; lead cross-functional teams and ensure clear, consistent communication; conduct regular project meetings every week and deliver timely status updates to leadership; ensure all work meets safety, quality, and client standards; complete all project documentation, reporting, and close-out requirements.
What you’ll need to Succeed
To succeed as the Project Manager, you will bring 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2+ years operating as a Project Manager. Experience within the construction industry is required to succeed in this position. You will be forward-thinking, and have an analytical mindset. This role is required to manage budgets and you will need to bring solid experience working with spreadsheets and data and bring previous experience working with and managing budgets. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry (required). You will have the following : strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and analyzing project data; advanced proficiency with Excel; excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once; strong communication and leadership abilities; proficiency in project management tools / software; ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure; PMP or similar certification is an asset but not required.
We are looking for someone who will work full-time in person at the head office location in Foxboro, Ontario. Therefore, the ability to commute or relocate is essential. Hours may be consistent at times but can also be irregular. Office operating hours are usually from 7am-5pm; construction crews can vary when they end the day depending on the job. We would expect someone open to work at whatever is required to efficiently manage their responsibilities. This could range from long days (10–12 hours) to short days when they leave early and balance longer shifts.
What you’ll get in Return
As the Project Manager, you will earn a competitive compensation package, from a base salary of $120, 000.00 to $150, 000.00 dependent on experience, including a bonus program, company vehicle, benefits, RRSP and vacation.
