Responsibilities

You will assist Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager with the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Duties include preparing and verifying medication orders for nursing homes, efficient production of blister and strip packaging, maintaining organization and cleanliness within the pharmacy, and sometimes servicing the front‑store dispensary. Tasks also involve customer service, telephone inquiries, general housekeeping, operating the pharmacy computer, processing and preparing prescriptions, ordering and receiving drug orders, and managing pharmacy inventory.

Qualifications

• Registration with the College of Pharmacists in the province of employment is mandatory.
• Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, and management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
• Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work as a team player with a collaborative approach.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with Kroll and automated pouch packaging systems is preferable.
