About Us

Our Fredericton facility opened in November 2024 and is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostics, including a full in-house lab (including blood gas and PT/PTT), digital radiology, and ultrasound.

The Role

As an RVT, youll play a key role in patient care, client education, and supporting our doctors. Daily responsibilities include:

• Compassionate patient handling, triage, and client communication
• Assisting with appointments, surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
• Collecting and preparing lab samples; administering medications and IV therapy
• Diagnostic imaging support and maintaining sterile technique
• Monitoring and treating hospitalized patients with empathy and precision
• Accurate record-keeping and use of hospital computer systems
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant hospital environment
• Occasional travel to support other hospital locations where needed
  
  

What Were Looking For

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
• 2+ years of patient care experience preferred (or equivalent education/training)
• Strong skills in animal handling, restraint, surgical and medical procedures
• Excellent communicationcalm under pressure, team-oriented, client-focused
• Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around sick/fractious animals
