Job Summary

The Kitchen Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for maintaining food safety protocols, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation personnel, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce food safety regulations and best practices within the kitchen.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
  • Train new kitchen employees on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and restaurant policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Skills

  • Proven experience in team management within a restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for order management.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive work environment.
  • Experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
  • This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about culinary excellence and have a desire to lead a dynamic kitchen team while providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

    Pay : $45,000-$55,000 per year
