Bank Housekeeper

As a Bank Housekeeper at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service within the home.

About Ashlynn Grange Care Home:
Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables.

About the role:
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Bank Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered in the home to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Salary:
£11.44 per hour.

Shift Pattern:
Bank contract with shifts from Monday to Sunday to cover holiday and sickness.

Home Location:
Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning schedule, ensuring the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene are maintained.
• Ensure all health and safety requirements are met and that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
• Actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.

Training, Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
