System Administrator

We cover the IT, development, business intelligence and infrastructure professions.We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, located in downtown Montreal. This is a hybrid position.We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to ensure maximum availability of the IT infrastructure of a company offering cutting-edge digital services. You will contribute to the operational stability, technical support and continuity of the technological environment used by around 100 internal users and numerous external collaborators.- Your responsibilitiesEnsure the availability and performance of the infrastructure and applications.Guarantee a high level of security within IT systems.Participate in defining the company's technological orientations.Design and implement performance dashboards.- Your daily tasksAdminister the entire IT environment: servers, storage, telephony, mobiles, firewalls, antivirus, printers, access systems, etc.Install, update and upgrade hardware and software.Apply change management procedures.Implement network security policies (LAN, WAN, VPN).Manage backups and ensure service continuity.Maintain IT inventories and maintenance contracts.Provide senior technical support as required.Document procedures and keep technical documentation up to date.Manage supplier relations and IT purchasing.Participate in on-call rotation for out-of-hours support.- Profile requiredExcellent command of Windows 10/11 environments, servers 2016 to 2022, Active Directory, DNS, GPO, WSUS, DFS.Very good knowledge of VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, Replication), VMware Horizon.Proficiency with Microsoft Exchange Server, Veeam, PRTG, SAN, SonicWall (VPN and firewall), Cisco (switches).Assets: VMWare, SonicWall, Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, MCSE), Cisco (CCNA) certifications, knowledge of Acronis, SentinelOne, Kantech, Avaya telephony, Azure, Office 365.College diploma in network management or equivalent.Minimum 5 years' experience in IT systems administration.Oral and written bilingualism (French and English).Service spirit, organizational skills, stress and priority management.- Conditions and benefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive group insuranceGroup RRSPHybrid telecommuting possibleSports reimbursementProfessional dues coveredReferral programPublic transit discountDay off offered for your birthday********The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons:- Communicating with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.- Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.- Writing documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.
