6-month contract Hardware Project Manager role with a global enterprise organization.

  • 6-month contract Project Manager role
  • Exciting project work rolling out new hardware to global users
  • Hybrid work environment in downtown Vancouver, 3 days a week in office.

Our client is investing majorly into technology and looking to add a contract project manager to their growing team. This team supports all store and guest facing hardware.  They work closely with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to deliver end-to-end projects while considering the full life cycle of hardware technology. Ideally you have technology hardware delivery experience with strong skills in developing, maintaining, and overseeing project artifacts. This is a great opportunity to join a team that has a well-established track record of success and strong business partnerships.

They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work model, with 3 days a week in office.

You :

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role :

  • 5+ years experience as a project manager in progressively senior roles
  • Experience managing hardware projects, preferably in a retail environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex IT systems and processes.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation / facilitation skills with an ability to gain consensus.
  • Experience with vendor management and working with key 3rd party strategic partners.
  • Proven success working with all levels of cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to consult, facilitate and manage expectations with leadership, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of working with Vendor SOWs, RFPs, and contracts.
  • Compensation :

    This role pays between $95-105 per hour .
