Forklift operator (warehouse / production)

Express Employment Professionals (Cloverdale / Langley)'s client, a multinational lubricants company is seeking a full time long-term warehouse / production associate forklift certified with experience. Located near the Golden Ears Bridge in Port Kels, there is bus service; however there is quite a walk from the bus stop to the facility. It will be a day time shift, Monday - Friday with an opportunity for long term employment. Must be forklift certified and computer savvy .

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Forklift certified production / warehouse worker will be responsible for, but not limited to the following :

• Transferring finished product from mixing tank into proper shipping containers.
• Filling tankers, packaging drums, pails, and bulk totes from bulk storage tank or production kettle.
• Shipping / Receiving Operations, staging finished goods for shipping.
• Unloading packaged goods, verifying lot numbers, unloading / loading trucks.
• Picking, generating BOLs, PGI, arranging carrier transport, transportation planning, preparing stock transfers.
• Organize and perform inventory of all warehouse goods, operate all material handling equipment to load and unload goods.
• Keeping warehouse and production areas clean and organized at all times.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications :

Training will be provided on as needed basis.

scheduled work days : Monday- Friday

Shift timing : 8am-4 : 30 (can flex fater trained)

Pay : $23 / hour + 4% VP (for probation)
