Your Opportunity
Our Quebec Risk Advisory Services (RAS) practice is looking for an experienced Manager to join our team to work in the regions of Montreal and Quebec. The Manager will work closely with the RAS team in helping manage the practice, assist with business development, mandate delivery, and overall practice development. Specifically, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include :
Practice Management
- Playing a key role in managing the Quebec-based RAS practice
- Once integrated into the practice : Acting as a coach and mentor to team members to maximize their potentialAssisting with defining resourcing needs and actively participate in hiring team resources
Business Development
Contribute to the development and implementation of the RAS Quebec strategy.Actively develop business opportunities and contribute to business development and sales initiatives.Mandate delivery
Establish strong relationships with clients at all levels of experience, including leadershipTake a leadership and collaborative role in maintaining a working atmosphere that promotes learning, participate in group events and assist in the building of the team culture / environmentManage teams in executing on various risk management, internal audit and other RAS engagementsManage engagements working closely with RAS team members thereby ensuring quality mandate delivery to clients – on budget, on time and with qualityAssist with the development of methodologies, tools, and templatesHow do we define success for your role?

Technical Experience
In-depth experience in performing internal audit (financial, operational and value-for-money), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) quality assessments, enterprise risk management, regulatory and internal controls over financial reporting (SOX and NI-52-109) engagements and providing related deliverablesDeep understanding of IIA standardsCertification in one or both of the following : CPA and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)Communication and collaboration
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate security concepts to different audiences.Build positive working relationships with clients and identify improvements for future engagementsDemonstrate managerial skills in working with high-performing teamsYou grow your expertise through learning and professional developmentYour background :
You have completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration or in a related fieldYou have a CPA or a CIAYou have 7 years or more of professional experience in a similar function within a professional services environmentYou can prioritize workload based on priorities and you have the flexibility to manageYou display exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation skills for internal / external purposesYou are focused on goals, results, and clientsBilingual in French and English is considered a must
