Responsibilities
Support international collaboration and knowledge sharing with the Alliance of Blood Operators (ABO).Support the creation of the annual ABO benchmarking report by gathering data and commentary from internal stakeholders and ensuring final report accuracy.Facilitate, track, and manage international knowledge‑exchange requests.Ensure timely communication about Canadian Blood Services' international collaboration efforts to leaders and all staff (e.g., newsletters, webinars, intranet articles).Support planning, development, management, execution, and maturation of the strategic foresight function and supporting capabilities, including establishing a standard framework for foresight projects.Collect, monitor, and aggregate key trends and developments that could impact the organization and communicate this information to internal stakeholders.Support the preparation and management of the annual horizon scan.Support creation of the Quarterly Strategy Review Report, Quarterly Performance Report for the Board, and other corporate performance reporting to ensure alignment and consistency.Administer ClearPoint (strategy management software) and other reports as required.Build relationships with key subject‑matter experts and influencers across departments to provide timely content for strategic and operational reports for the Executive Business Review.Desired Education and Skills
Completion of a university degree in a relevant discipline; a master’s degree is an asset.Experience in strategy, planning, and / or foresight activities (e.g., horizon scanning) is an asset.Demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholders and influencing senior leaders to achieve common goals.Highly motivated and self‑managed with the ability to balance multiple priorities and customer needs.An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.What we offer you
