We are seeking a Contractor Sales role to join our Waterloo team. You will oversee the sale of products and equipment to contractors assigned to our projects, and will be responsible or developing and maintaining customer, contractor and vendor relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide input on quotes / bids for projects regarding equipment design and selectionProvide detailed evaluations of competitive products to communicate value of ODell product solutions to all stakeholdersAssist with troubleshooting on any issues arising with mechanical equipment, coordinating with Service Team as requiredAssist design build contactors with the project design and act as a point of contact for any issues that may ariseComplete required product training to remain up to date and informed on newest technologiesTraining new Sales employees, and facilitating internal training sessions for colleagues as requiredParticipate in networking and business development opportunities, including lunches with clients, charity events, and society eventsProvide presentations to new and current customers on new productsPerform ongoing project site visitsConnect with new and prospective customers to build relationships and provide information about new products and technologyOther responsibilities as assignedWhat You Bring
Minimum two (2) years experience in a contractor sales-based role within HVAC marketAbility to read construction drawings and perform accurate take-offs and pricingHigh level of skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), and proficiency with CRM software (NetSuite) is an assetExpertise in sales techniques, combined with strong customer service skillsValid G drivers license and own reliable vehicleStrong written and verbal communicationExperience with quoting or project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects ongoing at onceExperience with HVAC selection softwareWorking knowledge of The Ontario Building Code and associated ASHRAE StandardsAccessibility Commitment
