Position Summary

Team Attendant, Baruch Weisz Outpatient Care Clinic, Medical Surgical Clinic : Your goal in this position is to contribute to patient flow by carrying out portering / cleaning duties, maintaining supplies and equipment contributing to various housekeeping duties to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Department. This position supports the hospital’s academic mandate by advancing care through teaching and learning and / or transforming care through research and innovation. This position contributes to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and families.

On a practical level, you will

• Transport patients to all areas of the Hospital
• Transport blood and specimens to the lab
• Assist patients and nursing staff with a variety of services
• Deliver supplies
• Clean equipment as required
• Receive all calls through the HRC
• Move equipment to storage for repair
• Answer and responds to requests
• Respond to Codes
• Assist in team efforts to complete tasks in an unsupervised environment
