For more information, please visit : We are looking to hire a Regional Branch Operations Manager for the Ontario East / West Region. You will be responsible for coordination of the day-to-day management, administration, communication, and operational functions supporting the Regional Director. In addition, you will play a key role in assisting Branch Directors, and Branch Operations teams across the region with operational issues, HR, compliance, and client inquiries.As the first point of contact for prioritization, coordination, and booking of activities you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of professionalism and communication while managing multiple and often conflicting deadlines, commitments, and projects. This role is based out of either London Ontario, or Toronto Ontario downtown – on site. What will you do?
Support Regional Director (daily administrative duties, generating various reports, presentations, meetings, branch visits and events, calendar proactive reviews and management, email review and prioritization, phone support, travel booking, expense reports, milestone tracking, tenure tracking).
Support other senior Wealth Management Canada executives as back-up where needed.
Support region’s managers and branch staff (ad-hoc questions, expense approvals, website approvals, ticket allocations, invoices, escalations,).
Support region’s Branch Operations Managers (regular check-ins, best practices, training, advocacy).
Manage, provide support on, and help plan regional projects and initiatives (implementing plans, maintaining systems, tracking progress, facilitating communication, and following up on action items).
Coordinate and organize all regular and one-off meetings, events and regional conferences, including related materials, bookings, speaker booking, and venue liaison.
Create and distribute regional communications and announcements to management team and staff.
Lead Regional Performance Committee, review, submit and communicate quarterly and annual recognition awards, distribute recognition items, congratulatory letters.
Review and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the Region, including creation, maintenance and distribution of monthly regional report card and partnering report. Review the regional P&L reports on a monthly basis, query and investigate entries. Track regional charitable giving initiatives and donations.
Assist in regional compliance (respond to audit requests, encourage timely branch submission of required reports, attestations, error reports, maintenance of regional related files (staff, litigation, complaints, trade surveillance, regional email compliance)).
National duties including participation on the Branch Operations Managers Advisory Board, management of service complaints system, monitoring and triage of WMclient generic mailbox, processing of staff titling applications through an approval process.
What do you need to succeed? Must Have
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
Experience working at RBC Dominion Securities or another IIROC investment firm, ideally as a Branch Operations Manager or Associate for 3 or more years.
A commitment to excellence, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and the ability to proactively take on tasks, and project work.
Superb attention to detail, exemplary communication skills (verbal and written), and strong customer service skills.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
