As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts and deploy partners to create the legendary customer experience.
Summary Of Key Responsibilities
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment.
- Communicate information to the manager so the team can respond as necessary.
- Assist with new partner training by reinforcing successful performance and coaching as needed.
- Provide feedback to the store manager on partner performance during the shift.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance.
- Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer‑first attitude and connecting with the customer.
- Develop positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, need and concerns.
- Execute store operations during scheduled shifts.
- Organize opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety and security.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
