Description de postePrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis. Oversee accuracy and inventory balances per company policies. Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules. Assist in annual income tax and other regulatory filings. Oversee payroll processing. Supervise and train accounting staff on full-cycle accounting processes as required. Conduct internal controls assessments and risk reviews. Support system implementations and process improvements. Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead general accounting operations, ensure compliance, and support process improvements across the Finance team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical abilities and excellent attention to detail.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite preferred.
- CPA designation is a strong asset but not required.
