The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team‑orientated professional :

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including hematology, chemistry, transfusion medicine, microbiology, and urinalysis.
• Ensure accuracy in specimen collection, preparation, analysis, and reporting of results.
• Perform quality control testing, document results, and take corrective actions as required.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring functionality, calibration, and safety standards.
• Adhere to departmental and hospital‑wide infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals regarding results and urgent findings.
• Participate in continuing education and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold patient safety and anticipate potential changes in patient condition that may require support or medical assistance.

Qualifications

This is a Non‑Union position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, $43.39 / hr – $50.04 / hr, plus up to 21% in lieu of vacation and benefits.
