Description de postePosition: Senior Contracts Manager - Major Rail ProjectsLocation: Lachine, QC (100% on site)Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 +10% annual bonusBenefits: Full benefits starting Day 1, 4% RRSP match, telemedicineAbout the RoleOur client, a leader in rail repair, conversion, and modernization for over half a century, is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale, multi-year rail projects. This newly created position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on Canada's transportation infrastructure by driving excellence in contract negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration.Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development & Projects, you will play a key strategic role ensuring contract compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end management of contracts — drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and closing agreements.- Manage bids and responses for RFPs/RFQs in collaboration with internal departments.- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring all contracts meet legal, policy, and industry standards.- Maintain a centralized contract repository and track deliverables, milestones, and obligations.- Prepare analyses, extension-of-time (EOT) requests, and progress updates for executive leadership.- Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters with clients and vendors.- Support process improvements and ensure alignment across project, finance, and legal teams.
