Position Overview

Northern Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our medical team in Quesnel, BC, with a focus on geriatric care. The role involves providing assessments, diagnoses, and care planning for older adults. Candidates with a Certificate of Added Competence in Care of the Elderly or equivalent experience are preferred.

Work Arrangements

Physicians can choose to work at 0.5 FTE or up to 1.0 FTE by combining geriatric care with other community opportunities such as shifts at the Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC), Family Practice Oncology, Emergency Room, Surgical Assists, OAT clinic, and short-term locums. Flexible work options are available to match your interests and lifestyle.

Support and Compensation

New-to-practice physicians are supported through transition resources. Flexible remuneration models, including contract-based payment, are offered to facilitate your entry into practice.
