Over your 3 years of experience in industrial or commercial property management youve gotten comfortable dealing with tenants and commercial leases. You understand that for you and the company to be successful you have to be willing to go the extra mile for the tenants and your customers. But youre good at that: you like people and it also shows in how you communicate be it when you speak write or facilitate meetings.

You are able to think on your feet: you can anticipate needs and deliver on your commitments but you are also able to manage unexpected situations as they arise. Your ability to come up with innovative solutions means you can work under pressure while never forgetting the tenant or lowering your customer service standards.

What will you do

Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. Dont worry; there will be more which well discuss in person:

• Tenant relations:
• Collection of rent and other tenant obligations;
• Coordination of move in/move out activities;
• Correspondence including memos;
• Tenant manuals and Fire Safety plans.
• Manage parking storage and telecom agreements for properties including preparation of License Agreements monthly reconciliations to JD Edwards and monthly site inspections;
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial reporting;
• Complete Move In/Move Out process;
• Complete Building Inspections;
• Complete quarterly audits of building security card access systems building directories and tenant signage;
• Provide supervision of construction projects and complete tendering process for contracts as required (snow removal window cleaning landscaping janitorial etc.).

What type of experience do you have

These are only some of the things wed like you to bring to the table. We can cover the rest when we meet:

• Minimum of three (3) years experience in property management; demonstrated proficiency in lease and contract interpretation;
• Strong understanding of buildings systems and terminology as it relates to industrial and flex buildings;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel and Word;
• Experience in MRI/JD Edwardsand VTS Leasing Software would be an asset.
