What You'll Do

You’ll play a key role in supporting clients through the full accounting cycle, tax preparation, and compliance process.

Your Primary Duties Will Include

• Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Preparing Compilation Engagements for various business entities.
• Drafting and reviewing management financial statements and related notes.
• Reconciling sub-accounts to control accounts to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Preparing reports and financial summaries as requested by clients.
• Gathering and verifying financial data for corporate and personal tax returns.
• Preparing and filing corporate and personal tax returns, along with required working papers.
• Meeting directly with clients to discuss financial statements and resolve tax or accounting queries.
• Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations, maintaining integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Assisting managers and partners with tax planning and addressing complex tax matters.
