Job Summary :
As the Treasury Services and Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and promoting financial products and services to enhance client satisfaction. You'll work closely with departmental leaders to uphold Central 1's reputation in the financial and credit union sectors while pursuing partnerships with third-party organizations to expand service offerings. With deep financial market expertise, you'll ensure Treasury products meet members' evolving needs, manage key stakeholder relationships, and identify business development opportunities. Additionally, you'll serve as a key advocate for the Treasury group, representing its values and goals in all interactions.
Travel is required for this role to meet with clients and partners across various locations.
What you'll be doing :
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Maintains regular contact with clients across Canada to promote Central 1's offerings, identify future opportunities, and stay informed about clients' business profiles.
Works closely with the Relationship Management Team to manage client expectations and deliver products and services efficiently.
Provides expertise on all Treasury products to help clients find effective solutions.
Acts as a liaison internally to drive change and innovation, enhancing client satisfaction and retention.
Sales & Business Development
Leads or assists in the sales and business development process, including qualifying and pursuing opportunities.
Participates in sales and marketing campaigns related to funding and liquidity solutions, considering their impact on internal resources.
Leads responses to RFPs and RFIs from existing and potential clients, utilizing negotiation skills and understanding contract terms.
Market & Industry Analysis
Monitors competitors' offerings and suggests enhancements to maintain competitiveness.
Collaborates with treasury business lines to ensure Central 1 stays ahead of market and industry changes, including regulatory updates.
Supports business lines by analyzing credit union trends and contributing to product development.
Thought Leadership & Representation
Represents Central 1 at conferences and industry events.
Organizes and conducts presentations and webinars on Central 1's products and services.
Collaboration & Internal Partnership
Builds relationships with internal partners to ensure products meet client needs.
Provides valuable insights into Treasury strategies, especially securitization, to assist clients and internal teams.
What you'll have :
Prioritize, set clear direction, and build strong team relationships
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong client management and leadership abilities
Minimum 7 years financial management experience in Treasury
Bachelor's degree in Finance / Business Administration with a financial designation
Credit union experience preferred, national comprehension a plus
Expertise in financial markets, products, and asset liability management
Entrepreneurial spirit with a client-centric approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, innovative, and creative problem solver
Strong interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder management
Diplomatic with ability to communicate within corporate guidelines
Proven success in analyzing financial statements and recommending strategies
Record of achieving results in a competitive environment
Salary : $90,000-$105,000
The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
