Document Management Technician

As a Document Management Technician within the Building team at Pomerleau, you will play a key role by significantly contributing to the management of our projects, working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will ensure the implementation of electronic document management (EDM) and manage the information lifecycle until archiving.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plans and procedures established for the project.
• Assist in updating and developing general management procedures related to documentation.
• Ensure compliance and manage documents developed or received by the various teams within the project.
• Assist in training or accompanying new users regarding EDM.
• Under the direction of the Document Management Manager – Major Projects, distribute documents via EDM both internally and to the client and stakeholders.
• Act as a resource person for users of the document management system.
• Daily detect errors and omissions for analysis and compliance purposes.
