Patient Care Assistant
To assist with the provision of patient care and the efficient operation of the unit / area under the direction of a health care professional.
Education :
- Completed a recognized program for personal support worker
- Current Basic Rescuer Certificate in Basic Cardiac Life support or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hiring
- Member of the Ontario Personal Support Worker Association (OPSWA) and / or Personal Support Network of Ontario (PSNO) an asset
Experience :
Previous patient care experience in health care environment or health related community work, preferred
