Wear multiple hats, quite literally! One day you might be assisting at the check-out, and another day you could be cross-training in a new department. Every day is an exciting challenge.
Become the go-to person for customer queries, ensuring they leave with a smile and the best products in their bags.
Bring out the best in your team. Collaborate, communicate, and cultivate an atmosphere of mutual respect and outstanding teamwork.
Uphold the impeccable standards of L’OCA Quality Market – from ensuring accurate pricing to keeping our store sparkling clean.

Skills we admire :

Eagerness to learn and adapt to different roles.

Being a people-person! If striking a conversation or helping someone makes your day, you’re the one!

Familiarity with store procedures, and if you’ve got an eye for the latest products, even better.

Good with numbers and have a knack for understanding what makes our store tick.

Fluent with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Emails. But don’t worry if you’re not – we believe in learning on the go!

Experience :

While no experience is strictly required, having some retail background will help you hit the ground running.

L’OCA Quality Market is an emerging specialty grocer and gourmet food retailer in Canada whose purpose is to “Spread the Love” by delivering a world-class food experience. Our core values are Quality, Scratch, Theatre, Service, and Love. Each location is comprised of a full artisanal market experience, including full-service restaurant(s), where traditional artisanal craftsmanship and service on the front end meets new world technology and innovation on the back end. A revolutionary purchasing and org structure, supported by custom technology, allows us to leverage efficiency across the business unit to drive scratch perishable production, massive prepared foods selection, full carcass meat programs, and world class service in a cost-effective format. There is also a special place in our hearts for quality local and Canadian products and we aim to deliver positive change to the food chain through a focus on local sourcing and private label partnerships. We are currently laying the groundwork for a national chain focused initially on western Canada. Our first location is 48k square feet, and located in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
