DevOps Specialist

Fortinet has an exciting opportunity for an experiencedDevOps Specialist to join our FortiCloud operation team. We are managing the consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world. Service Reliability and Security is our top is a critical position for driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of collaboration between development and operations. Provide on call support as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing and Maintaining Infrastructure as Code in terraform to producing a high standard of well-factored and tested code.
• Develop continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) pipelines in Jenkins and Gitlab CI.
• Administration experience in Linux (RHEL CentOS and Ubuntu) as a server platform. Manage and troubleshoot applications on kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain system monitoring and alerting using tools like Nagios Zabbix Grafana Prometheus.
• Participate in incident response activities including diagnosis mitigate and prost-mortem analysis.
• Automate system provisioning and application deployment using tools like Ansible Terraform and Helm.
• Work with development QA and IT teams to integrate DevOps best practices into every stage of the software lifecycle.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems processes and tools.

Educational Requirements :

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $100000 - $137000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
