What you will do

• Ensure rigorous and proactive monitoring of customer accounts and collection activities to maintain healthy cash flow;
• Analyze credit risk to support informed strategic decision-making;
• Manage the opening, updating, and maintenance of customer accounts with accuracy and efficiency;
• Evaluate account opening requests and determine optimal credit terms;
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, error-free account reconciliation;
• Conduct follow-up calls and emails for past-due accounts;
• Negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent customers;
• Track payment commitments and update records accordingly;
• Prepare reports on overdue accounts and recommend corrective actions;
• Maintain professional and friendly communication with our customers across Canada, by phone and email.

Qualifications

• Education: AEC or DEP in Accounting or a related field;
• Required experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including a strong collections component;
• Comfortable with computer tools and able to learn quickly;
• Solution-oriented mindset with sound judgment in day-to-day situations;
• Team spirit and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service;
• Strong autonomy, organizational skills, and excellent analytical abilities;
• Bilingualism (French/English – intermediate level) due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication between different regions (asset).
