Responsibilities
The Client and Funding Services (CFS) unit of the GMF seeks a summer intern to support its reporting and data quality identification and visualization within its Outreach team, and to provide first-level client service. A specific scope of work will be developed in advance. The intern’s work will build upon existing CFS improvement initiatives.
Secondary Component
Jack Layton Memorial Project : Work collaboratively within a team of fellows selected from various FCM departments and continue the development of a campaign to commemorate Jack Layton’s work, focusing on youth engagement in local communities with emphasis on participation in municipal issues.

Work Location & Eligibility
The role supports a hybrid work model and requires the candidate to live within 80 km of downtown Ottawa and be authorized to work in Canada.
