Job Description
The Engineering Manager will be the first on a brand new team. That means, you will be hands-on in the beginning before building a team around you. You will be responsible for developing, migrating, integrating, customizing, and supporting products and services. This includes .NET Development and setting up cloud services in Azure. You will collaborate closely with various teams (product managers, project managers, analysts, and support) and wear multiple technical hats, to ensure we are always delivering value to our customers. You will gain in-depth knowledge of our application and help troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues.
You will have the potential to grow a team around you so we're looking for someone with the confidence and vision to build out a software team. We need someone with great leadership skills, listening skills and time management – who will be given ownership and autonomy to drive projects to completion. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and strive for innovation. They must also have well-developed technical acumen and the ability to learn on the fly. Although this is a division of a larger, profitable business, we need someone with a startup mindset that's looking for growth and innovation in their role.
