Technical Program Manager

Position Description :

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and / or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

The candidate should bring deep knowledge in banking payments and cloud transformation demonstrated through successful delivery of ISO 20022-compliant APIs and fraud detection integrations on AWS. Given the complexity of integrating on-prem and cloud systems as well as ensuring security and regulatory compliance the role demands a highly skilled resource with both technical depth and domain expertise.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

• .Lead cloud migration engagements ensuring successful transition of applications from on-prem to AWS
• .Manage project timelines deliverables and dependencies across multiple teams
• .Oversee integration with upstream and downstream systems including third-party application
• .Ensure compliance with cloud governance resiliency and risk management frameworks.
• .Drive delivery excellence by applying Agile practices and continuous improvement principle
• .Partner with client architects and delivery teams to define cloud migration strategies including re-hosting re-platforming and re-architecting.
• .Provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams including infrastructure application and data modernization.
• .Work closely with development teams to establish best practices for serverless containerized and microservices-based applications.
• .Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure robust CI / CD pipelines Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and environment automation.
• .Perform architecture reviews identify optimization opportunities and recommend AWS-native solutions to enhance scalability and cost efficiency.
• .Support technical due diligence cost modeling and proposal development for new cloud opportunities.
• .Mentor development and operations teams in AWS architecture principles and cloud best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Proven experience managing large-scale AWS programs or cloud transformation initiatives.
