Product Support Representative - Allison Transmissions

The Opportunity

The person in this position oversees the indirect sales of Allison Transmission Inc. (ATI) products.

The Role

• Meet with customers and help them select the right products for their needs.
• Offer various product options and extended warranty programs.
• Perform product performance evaluations based on customer requirements (SCAAN program).
• Promote Wajax workshops to increase parts and service revenue.
• Ensure communication between the dealer network, the distributor, and Allison Transmission Inc.

The Candidate

• College diploma or combination of education and relevant technical experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy truck industry
• Experience in financial analysis and proposal calculation
• Experience in writing proposals or estimates
• Experience in designing and presenting technical solutions to customers
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Experience in commercial negotiation
• Dynamism, autonomy, efficiency, and organizational skills
• Proactive management of a designated sales territory
• Ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of project management
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to listen to customer needs
• Sense of initiative and willingness to generate opportunities
• Strong consulting and technical sales skills for products ranging from the simplest to the most complex
• Customer service orientation
• Availability to travel (more than 50% of the time)

Compensation:

Base pay $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per annum. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
