Reporting to : Dean of Workforce Training & Continuing Education
Responsibilities
- Teach Skid Steer, Forklift, Loader and Scissorlift / platform certification courses at our campus. Instructors can be based out of multiple campus locations (Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort John and Fort Nelson).
- Maintain and submit grade assignments, exams, and grading sheets to the Program Coordinator, and communicate on any issue related to student participation or course delivery.
- Support the Comprehensive Train the Trainer program to ensure you''re prepared to succeed. The training is scheduled for March 23 - 27 at the Dawson Creek campus and dates are non-negotiable.
Qualifications
Required :
Current certification for the operation of the equipment.Minimum of 5 years of related industry work experience.Minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching or training in an organization.The ability to be an effective and positive team member is essentialHave a strong commitment to customer service and student motivation and success.Current and valid Drivers LicenseKnowledge of rules and regulations specific to the equipment listed, for BC and Alberta.Preferred :
