Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily operations in the metal fabrication shop to ensure timely and efficient production.
• Lead and mentor production staff, including welders, machine operators, assemblers, and support personnel.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet demand and resolve bottlenecks.
• Monitor workflow, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity, quality, and safety.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization using Lean Manufacturing or similar methodologies.
• Oversee inventory management, including raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of machinery and equipment.
• Address and resolve production issues, employee concerns, and client feedback as required.
