Controller
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, and accounting administration. This senior leadership role manages both the Accounting and Finance departments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional integrity, technical expertise, and the capacity to provide meaningful financial insights while supporting organizational decision‑making.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Lead and develop both the Accounting and Finance teams while ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end processes, and the preparation of internal and external financial statements
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and all related transaction processing
- Maintain accurate financial records, complete reconciliations, investigate variances, and support audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, record‑keeping requirements, GAAP, and internal policies
- Support investment management, liquidity monitoring, and interest rate analysis within established policies
- Review and improve accounting systems, processes, and reporting tools, including budgeting and forecasting models
- Provide financial information, insights, and recommendations to leadership to support sound decision‑making
- Oversee policy creation, maintenance, compliance monitoring, and management of the corporate policy repository
- Collaborate effectively with executive leadership and support the Vice President of Finance as needed
Your strengths include :
