Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical Business Line Canada. The successful candidate will focus on technical leadership for dams, reservoirs, dykes, spillways and hydropower projects, and collaborate with our established teams and experts within Canada and our global operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking for their next phase in their career; want to develop managerial, technical and business development skills and seek career advancement. This role is based in the Burnaby, British Columbia office, however remote work is possible.

Education and Experience
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Geological, Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, from a recognized university.
Post graduate degree (MSc) or doctorate in Geological, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering would be an asset.
Minimum of 15 years' experience.
Professional Engineer in good standing in Canada and eligible to register in British Columbia.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
