Job Title : Snr Maintenance and Repair Technician (SMRT)

Job Description

As a Maintenance and Repair Technician (SMRT), you will be at the forefront of maintaining and improving the efficiency of our cutting-edge distribution facilities. You will lead a team of skilled technicians in ensuring the smooth operation of our material handling equipment, including conveyors and robotic components.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and train teams of technicians.
• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Install and configure photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
• Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and suggest potential improvements.

Work Environment

Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Be prepared to walk approximately 10,000 steps per day. Performance is tracked by data to ensure expectations are met, although micromanagement is not practiced. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts.

Start Date

This is an actively open position with an estimated start date of January 19th, 2026.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of St. Thomas, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
