Description de posteUsing your financial expertise to lead the way in commercial acumen, regulatory smarts, and top-notch communication. Being a driving force behind strategic growth. You'll spot trends and help steer the ship forward. Partnering on financial planning to help us reach our organizational goals. Taking charge of risk and compliance targets to keep us on the right path. Making sure our cash flow and financial obligations are in top shape. Leading risk management across the organization. You'll set up the right controls and ensure everyone's on board. Being our financial point of contact for reporting, audits, forecasting, and management reporting. Getting your hands on analytics and product costing. Designing SOPs that keep us growing and keep us in control. Managing cash distribution and keeping a close eye on banking and treasury activities. Overseeing purchasing, working capital, payroll, and benefit plans. Being our inventory management guru, making sure we're in control. Taking care of all things Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and making sure we're ready for anything. Keeping an eye on the big stuff, like fixed assets inventory. Guiding us to company performance and growth, shaping our strategic financial objectives, and driving new development initiatives. Managing relationships with banks and external consultants. Playing a key role in our financial growth journey, identifying new funding opportunities, and making sure our budgets make sense. Overseeing budgeting and strategic forecasts, and holding our team accountable for their performance. Giving a hand in our compliance and taxation efforts. Training and developing our finance staff, making sure they're up to speed on financial management matters.

We’re looking for someone who's been in the financial trenches as a Financial Controller or Head of Finance for at least 7 years.
If you know your way around ERP and warehouse management systems and have a good grasp of M&A and integration processes, we want to talk to you.
Plus, being a member of a recognized body of professional accountants in Canada is a must.
