We're Hiring : Passionate Therapist [Social Worker or Psychologist] as an Independent Contractor for Inperson Therapy in Our Collaborative Group Practice in Olds, Central Alberta
WHY DID YOU BECOME A THERAPIST?
You LOVE doing therapy! You feel tremendous privilege in being able to connect with people on a deep level knowing that oftentimes you are the only person who sees their pain, knows their hidden story, and believes in their worth. The positive changes your clients have made as a result of your work together fill your heart with joy and a deep sense of purpose. Because you love doing therapy and you’re really good at it, there have been many times when you can’t believe you’re being paid to do this work!
Wait, I Did Not Think Becoming A Therapist Would Be Like This.
But lately, those thoughts have been less frequent. Maybe it’s because the caseload you’re expected to carry is high, you feel like you’re drowning in paperwork, there’s no flexibility in your schedule, you don’t get to work with your ideal population, and / or you feel undervalued and lonely. All of these factors are impinging on your love of doing therapy, and you want the joy back.
There is a way out; you can have it all with us. You could do the clinical work that you love without the burnout. We are looking for a Registered Social Worker or Psychologist to join our private practice.
There Is Hope!
JOIN OUR TEAM!
We are seeking an associate to join our team three days a week for 15 client hours, daytime, evening or weekend shifts, with the option to increase to full-time hours. This position is for someone looking to work with clients in person out of our office, based in Olds, Central Alberta.
We would be a great fit for a registered social worker or psychologist who is looking for a positive and supportive team. We provide all client referrals and administrative support, so you can see clients and relax knowing that everything else is handled.
WHO YOU ARE

whose practice is built upon building relationships, lifelong learning, integrity and ethics…
and you maintain a sustainability practice (to ensure your own mental health to avoid burnout) and attend your own personal therapy as needed …
WE WANT YOU TO JOIN OUR TEAM!
WHO WE ARE
Canopy Cove is a boutique therapy practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal from trauma, strengthen their relationships, and create lasting resilience.
We provide an integrative and deeply personalized approach to mental health. Our collaborative team approach allows therapists to work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients while simultaneously preventing burnout in our clinicians.
We practice from a relational model and believe we cannot do this work alone. We see ourselves and others better by vulnerably working alongside each other. We are a team that chooses to risk, play, be messy and not be afraid to make mistakes in our learning. We encourage, walk beside and support each other to grow out of our comfort zones. We show up to celebrate each other and to be a soft landing place when this work and world are hard.
Our work is rooted in transformation—helping people feel lighter, at ease, and at home in their bodies and relationships. We want parents to say their home feels peaceful, couples to feel truly heard, and individuals to reconnect with their sense of self.
OUR VALUES : COMPASSIONATE CARE
We prioritize creating a warm, validating, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and supported in their healing journey.
ROOTED IN CONNECTION
Our approach focuses on strengthening relationships, whether within families, partnerships, or an individual’s connection to themselves.
DEPTH OVER QUICK FIXES
Therapy that is not just about symptom relief but deep, lasting change, with a focus on healing trauma and attachment wounds at the root, guiding clients toward lasting transformation.
