Job Description

We’re looking for an Informatica Production Support Developer to join our Platform Services team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to provide KLO and troubleshooting support for over 50 Informatica applications in two separate informatica environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and Debug Informatica ETL Transformation and embedded SQL code, trace, and track source / target locations, raise and communicate incident tickets in accordance with established Change Management process and provide consulting services and guide on proper and preferrable use of Informatica Transformations best practices; follow and enforce code management.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, create / maintain / update Platform Support documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as database applications are developed or as needed and create / maintain Runbooks and other related documentation; act as one of primary contacts for Informatica PowerCenter (Analyze and Troubleshoot Transformation workflows, consult on Informatica design solutions, enhance or create new Informatica transformations, test existing workflows and transformations for large platform wide events (e.g. upgrades)
  • Be available to work off-hours and extended shifts if required, provide On-Call support as part of On-Call rotation within Platform Support team.
  • Proactive ownership of incidents-issues until resolution, logging and tracking identified system problems through resolution.
  • Building effective working relationships with internal and external resources, technology vendors and outsourcing service providers and Interfaces with IS groups, strategic vendor partners, and other Business Units, peers, IS Managers, Directors, and AVPs.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Experience :  At least two to three years of relevant experience in IT Role / Operations
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement : Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND / OR current external environment / situation)
  • Shift Schedule (Fixed Night Shift) : Amenability to work on the assigned schedule (dependent on business need)
  • Minimum Skills to Hire / Must Haves : 5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter, including version 10.xMust be able to read, analyze and write PERL or UNIX script.Must have experience troubleshooting SQL queries, including stored proceduresKnowledge of CAW batch or similar scheduling agentKnowledge of at least one of the Informatica tools is a great plus :
  • Informatica Data Integration Hub (DIH)
  • Informatica Test Data Management (TDM)
  • Other tool : Informatica 10.x including Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor and Repository Manager
  • Nice to Have Skills : Strong customer service and interpersonal skills such as teamworkStrong written, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate; ability to lead and influence technical peers and decision makers.Candidate must have good organizational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to be flexible to changing environments and to work independently and meet tight deadlinesCandidate must demonstrate problem solving skills
