Compensation: $60,000-$72,000 annually
We are seeking an Parts & Aftermarket Counter Sales Representative to join our Parts & Aftermarket Sales team. Reporting to the Aftermarket Sales Manager, you will support daily operations by managing counter sales activities, responding to walk-in, phone, and email inquiries, and ensuring accurate order processing and timely fulfillment. This position will play a key role in the ownership and strategy for our Waterloo counter sales.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the main point of contact for all aftermarket counter sales inquiries, providing prompt, professional, and knowledgeable customer support.
- Assess customer needs and provide accurate product recommendations, substitutions, and technical guidance using HVAC aftermarket knowledge.
- Prepare, process, and manage quotes and orders, ensuring pricing accuracy, availability, and timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure orders are picked, staged, delivered, or ready for customer pickup as required.
- Manage multiple counter transactions simultaneously while maintaining organization, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to support revenue growth and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, orders, and product requests within NetSuite.
- Monitor recurring counter requests, backorders, and product gaps, and communicate insights to the Aftermarket Sales Manager to support inventory planning and process improvements.
- Ensure all counter sales activities follow internal policies, pricing guidelines, and safety standards.
- Build strong customer relationships through reliable service, technical expertise, and consistent follow-through.
- Support training and knowledge sharing related to counter processes, products, and systems as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three to five (35) years of experience in HVAC, construction, or a related technical industry, including with parts and aftermarket sales.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with prior experience in a sales/customerservice-basedenvironment.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM/ERP systems preferred.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external project stakeholders.
