About The Role

Draganfly Innovations is on the lookout for a seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design development and validation of mechanical systems for our UAV platforms. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a hands-on fast-paced environment and enjoys taking designs from concept through prototype testing and into production.

You will work across mechanical electrical manufacturing and test teams to ensure our products are reliable manufacturable and aligned with engineering best practices. If youre passionate about building real hardware - not just CAD - and want to contribute directly to innovative UAV technology wed love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Design & Engineering

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies for UAV systems with a focus on performance reliability manufacturability and serviceability.
• Develop and maintain CAD models assemblies drawings and engineering documentation.
• Apply DFM / DFA principles across machined sheet metal molded composite and additively manufactured components.
• Support mechanical troubleshooting failure analysis and corrective design actions.

Manufacturing Readiness & Vendor Interaction

Prototype Integration & Test Support
